Lisa Schmitz Interior Design has teamed up with Design for a Difference and Rose Brooks Center, a domestic violence shelter in Kansas City to remodel the common living spaces. People are deeply affected by their environments. After touring Rose Brooks Center, meeting the women, children, and even pets escaping violence, we knew this was a story we wanted to help write! We wish to design spaces of healing and peace for the women and children escaping violent situation. The newly remodeled common areas will serve as a welcome place to nurture and foster ambitions.
Our goal of raising $150,000 will provide four fully remodeled, cozy, and healing common living room for the women and children living at Rose Brooks Center.
